It's not necessary to choose a product from a supplier of high priced enterprise tools, you're not goint to release a second SAP. On the other side the most available OpenSource libraries are a little bit viral regarding licences.

Based on our experience with many development environments and technologies, i. e. Apples EOF (Enterprise Objects Framework) as a part of Webobjects or Hibernate we build our frameworks.

REALbasic is pretty nice and cross-platform development environment. While REALbasic is an Rapid Application Development – Environment it's missing some key technologies to develop custom database applications as fast as the market is asking for.

Beside these current libraries for REALbasic, we've several matured products for Omnis Studio or FileMaker, if you're interested get in contact.

If you need help to build your product using the common Java technologies or PHP, we can contribute valuable work or advice, although we're not offering ready made products.
